Book Launch Event in Denmark // October 2015

9 October 2015  // Book release @ Føroyahúsið, Copenhagen

Birgit’s Garden (Havin hjá Birgit), is being released in Denmark. To celebrate this, we´re going to have a launch event in Copenhagen as part of Føroyahusið’s cultural night programme. The event will be held at Føroyahúsið, the Faroese culture house in Vesterbrogade on 9th October at 8 pm.

The the book launch event will be short and casual with a laid back atmosphere, as it is one part of the cultural night programme at Føroyahúsið. Eija will present the book, and she and Mariann Hansen will read passages from the book in Faroese, Finnish and Swedish with some photos from the book as back drop. There will also be interesting interviews with guests. Ísak Petersen will play some tunes with his bass. Our surprise guest is Jón Aldára from Hamferð.

The book will of course be on display as well as sold for a special price.

Your are most welcome and hope to see you there!
